Motorcycle and ATV Motor Oil

1) Motorcycle and ATV Motor Oil

Oil changes are one of the easiest and most effective ways to prolong the life of your bike and should be performed based according to your owner's manual. Depending on the year, make, and model of your motorcycle, the owner's manual may recommend a specific brand or oil weight that the manufacturer feels either extends the longevity of your bike or provides optimal performance. You can choose from a variety of brands or weights. Yamalube synthetic oil, Bel Ray 10w40 oil, Castrol 20w50 motorcycle oil are some of the popular motor oil weights and brands offered at RideNow Chandler / Euro

Chain Lube

2) Chain Lube

Chain lube is another essential item to always stock on your workbench. There are two groups of lubes on the market; oil-based wet lube and wax or graphite-based dry lube. Oil-based lubes are referred to as wet lubes because they stay wet on the chain, while dry lubes evaporate to leave a dry lubricant on the chain.

Air Filter Cleaner & Oil

3 & 4) Air Filter Cleaner & Oil

Having a clean, properly oiled air filter is important, you don't want any dust our grime getting into your bikes engine that could increase wear on the piston and rings an air filter that's clogged from dirt or not oiled correctly will not only starve your bike for air but it can cause your bike to run poorly. Keeping your filter clean is not that hard to do as long as you have the right chemicals to do the job. So if you're a dirt bike guy, you will need an air filter cleaner and air filter oil to clean and oil the filter so it's ready to go for your next ride. There is a big selection of cleaners and oils from Maxima, Twin Air and Motul and these chemicals are inexpensive and something you should always have in your garage.

For cruiser and sport bike guys and gals, the stock OEM air filter that usually comes with your bike is a disposable paper air filter and most people will replace that filter with a K&N, BMC or something similar with a gauze media to get the proper air flow. The manufacturers usually recommend using their cleaners and oils on these types of air filters like K&N Filtercharger Kit, BMC Washing Kit and there are is still a lot of aftermarket oils and cleaners that will do the job as well.

Waterproof Grease

5) Waterproof Grease

A good tub of Maxima Hi-temp waterproof grease is always nice to have handy for greasing up axles or sealing hubs and anything else that might need some additional lubrication.

Degreaser

6) Degreaser

When it comes to cleaning your motorcycles, ATV or UTV it's never fun especially if you have caked on mud and grime. To make thing a little easier you should try some bike wash degreaser like One Point Seven's Formula 1 wash degreaser or a complete S100 cleaning kit. Having tough cleaners won't make cleaning those bikes be so bad after all.

Polish

7) Polish

To bring back that factory shine after your bike is nice and clean, try some Maxima SC1 clear coat polish or Motorex clean and polish spray. These polishes work as a light lubricant, undercoat protectant and it cleans and seals all metal, synthetic, and painted surfaces.

Contact Cleaner

8) Contact Cleaner

After using any aerosol polishes, it's always good to have a can of contact cleaner because the over spray can get on your brake rotors or make the surfaces really slick. Contact cleaner is also good to have for cleaning oil, grease, and grime from the road. We recommend having a can of PJ1 Super Cleaner.

Cable Lube

9) Cable Lube

Lubing the cables on your bikes is something you should always do between every ride or every other ride. This will make the cables not only last longer but work properly as well. Some cable care kits like the one from Protect All come with a cable luber or you can buy a cable luber separately from brands like Motion Pro.

Hand Cleaner

10) Hand Cleaner

Keeping your hands clean in the garage can be a tough job in itself. Oil, grease, and grime can often get under nails and around cuticles. Hand cleaners like Motul and One Point Seven's Formula 9 designed to fight those tough stains and keep your hands dinner-table ready. Your loved ones will be a lot happier when you come in from the garage with a clean pair of hands rather a pair of dirty ones.
